Wá is a product of Sachaendemic, a business founded in 2014 with the idea of designing and elaborating healthy and fun products with guayusa, a plant that inspires us and we find very interesting. We found guayusa on the Ecuadorian Amazon, where we collect stories linked to these ancestral plant and how important it is to the communities in the area. One of the main reasons that moved us to work with this leaf was the fact that we could generate alternatives work in such a sensitive area, where many families resort to the extractivism of various resources. The guayusa is a sacred tree for the communities of the area, that is sown in the chakras of the houses where they live. It's leaves have been the accomplices of all the stories and dreams that these families share around the fire. With that in mind, we started designing multiple products, testing and analyzing the response of the public.

It's very important to mention that our business has a solid approach about corporate social responsibility, framed in three fundamental axes: the environment, fare trade and the commitment of corporate governance. Our packagings are eco-friendly, we buy our ingredients directly from the producers and small business, and we lower our carbon foot print delivering the 80% of Wá's products by bike.
